It will be held at JW Marriott Hotel, Harbin, China from July 3-6, 2025. The conference web page can be found at 34th International Conference on the Discrete Simulation of Fluid Dynamics (34thdsfd.org.cn). The DSFD series of conferences originated with the 1986 Los Alamos conference organised by Gary D. Doolen. Since that time, the DSFD conferences have emerged as the premiere forum for researchers in the field, and many exciting new discoveries in lattice models of fluid dynamics have been first announced at DSFD conferences. Topic emphasised at these meetings include lattice Boltzmann schemes, dissipative particle dynamics, smoothed-particle hydrodynamics, direct simulation Monte Carlo, molecular dynamics, quantum Monte Carlo methods, multiparticle collision dynamics and hybrid methods. There will be sessions on advances in both theory and computation, on engineering applications of discrete fluid algorithms, and on fundamental issues in mathematical modelling, numerical analysis, statistical mechanics, kinetic theory and hydrodynamics and their applications in microscopic, nanoscale and multiscale physics for emerging technologies. Other topics of interest include theoretical and experimental work on interfacial phenomena, droplets, free-surface flow, and micro- and nano-fluidics. The DSFD conferences are therefore truly interdisciplinary, and include participants from computer science, computational science, physics, engineering, mathematics, chemistry, and many other specialties. Please consider submitting an oral or poster presentation to DSFD 2025. There will also be an opportunity to submit papers for the proceedings. Each proceedings submission will be rigorously peer-reviewed. In addition to the technical presentations, a number of tutorials will be provided for students and researchers new to the field. We will update you as more talks are added in the near future. Harbin, a dazzling gem in Northeast China, is renowned for its breathtaking winter landscapes and rich cultural heritage. The Ice and Snow Festival showcases intricate ice sculptures, turning the city into a fairytale wonderland. Its architecture, blending European elegance with Russian charm, is exemplified by the iconic Saint Sophia Cathedral. Along the Songhua River, nature's tranquility complements the bustling city life. Harbin's culinary scene offers a delightful fusion of Chinese and Russian flavors, with dishes like Harbin Red Sausage and Guo Bao Rou tempting taste buds. This vibrant city invites visitors to immerse in its history, culture, and unique charm. Important dates: Abstract submission deadline: May 31, 2025 Early registration deadline: April 15, 2025 Regular registration deadline: June 10, 2025 We are fortunate to invite some experts around the world in this field.
